Does AI see you?
A free check for firms in a measured vertical: how often four AI engines name your firm on the buyer's questions, which sources they cite instead, and what your website tells a machine reader. One report, our method, no sales pitch.
What you get
A short report on one firm, built from the same weekly panel that feeds the lab:
- Frequency. How many of the last four weeks’ answers named you, per engine and location, next to the firms that were named instead — with intervals, zeros included.
- Sources. Which domains the engines cite on your questions: directories, forums, official pages, listicles, competitors’ sites.
- Your site as a machine reads it. Whether the retrieval bots are allowed by your
robots.txtand your CDN, whether the text is in the served HTML or only rendered by JavaScript, which structured data is present, whether Bing has the site indexed. - Observations, not promises. What distinguishes the named firms from the unnamed ones in the census — stated as a correlation on a small sample, never as a cause.
Who can ask
Firms in a vertical the lab currently measures. Today that is relocation to Europe: immigration lawyers, tax advisors and company-formation agents in Portugal, Spain and Cyprus. Requests from other verticals are kept for the next series.
How to ask
Send the firm’s website address to hello@bymachines.ai with the subject “Does AI see you”. No form, no account, nothing to install. Expect the report within two weeks; the first reports go out after the first reading on 2026-10-19.
What happens with the data
Your firm’s row is already in the public tables if an engine has named it; the report adds nothing public. The report itself is sent to you only. If you agree, an anonymised version of what we learned may appear in a reading — you will be asked first.
